Summary
The Royal Gun Factory was part of the larger Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, South London, England. In 1893 production of the Royal Navy's torpedoes was transferred from the Royal Laboratory to the Royal Gun Factory.
In 1910 The Royal Navy Torpedo Factory was established and assumed the production of the torpedoes previously produced by the Royal Gun Factory
