Summary
Edward Humphrys was a marine engineer who in 1852 co-founded the firm Humphrys, Tennant and Dykes in Deptford on the Thames. The company produced marine engines for the Royal Navy for approximately half a century and were direct competitors of Maudlsay and Co.
