Summary
Eliphalet Williams Bliss was a manufacturer and machine engineer. He established E.W. Bliss & Co. And the United States Projectile Company which manufactured the ground-breaking Bliss-Leavitt torpedo, designed by his employee Frank McDowell Leavitt in 1904.
