- Abstract
A twin-screw steam launch (length 42 feet, beam 10 feet 6 inches, draught 3 feet 9 inches; trial speed 7.4 knots), fitted with two 5-inch by 6-inch stroke, twin cylinder inverted-vertical simple marine engines mounted on either side of a locomotive boiler. Directly coupled to two four-bladed propellers 2 feet 6 inches in diameter, pitch 3-feet; built by Messrs. Maudslay, Sons, and Field, Lambeth.
