- Abstract
"This invention relates to certain improvements in the device for steering torpedoes protected by my United States Patent No. 562,235, granted June 16, 1896. These improvements have reference to a novel arrangement for adjusting the fly-wheel shaft in its normal position before starting, retaining such shaft in place while in operation, and releasing the same after the rotary impulse has been imparted to it, and, furthermore, the improvements extend to a novel air-distributing mechanism for the "servomotor."
