- Abstract
This article postulates that it should be possible to detect an enemy missile launch with the Ballistic Missile Defense System's (BMDS) network of sensors and launch an SM-3 Block IIA or Kinetic Energy interceptor missile counter-attack from the vertical launch tubes of a guided missile submarine close to an enemy's missile sites.
