- Abstract
"This article focuses on matters related to building Diesel-Electric Subs in the U.S. Navy. The U.S. Navy has developed a paranoia that has the cost U.S. taxpayer a lot of extra money: the outright refusal to produce diesel. The U.S. Navy stopped the production in this country of three German-designed diesel-electric submarines for the Israeli Navy. The U.S. President George W. Bush has proposed the delivery of eight new diesel-electric boats foe Taiwan. The articles ignore that both Norwegian and Dutch diesel-electric submarines have successfully penetrated the U.S. Navy formations during exercises."
