'On 31 July, Laura Bush christened the second ship of the Virginia-class, the Texas (SSN-775), at Northrop Grumman's Newport News sector in Virginia. This was the first submarine christening in nearly a decade for Newport News shipyard. The Texas is scheduled for delivery to the Navy in 2005."
