Illustrations and description of a steam launch (length, 48ft.; beam, 9ft.; draught aft, 4ft.; draught forward 3ft. 6in.) fitted with a single 10in. cylinder, 8.5in. stroke, engine operating at255 revolutions per minute on steam supplied at a pressure of 90 pounds per square inch by an ordinary return tubular boiler. Built for the Brazilian Government by Messrs. Yarrow and Hedley, of Poplar.
