In accordance with the requests received from many quarters, the editors of the "Imperial Navy Almanack" had produced a special issue of the parts of the work that were of general interest to naval officers and others in foreign countries, and thereby produced a very complete account of the Navies of the world, and their artillery compressed into a pocket-book less than half an inch thick.
