A full description of the war rockets being produced at the arsenal at Woolwich had been published in The Engineer of April 23rd, 1871; this shorter description was published following the explosion of what was estimated to have been between 200 and 600 rockets at the Woolwich Arsenal on Monday the 24th of September 1883.
