Engineering's transatlantic contemporary Mechanical Engineer had reproduced the illustrations and description of their article on the small light draught steam launch, built for the river Nile, by Messrs. Thornycroft and Co., of Chiswick and had recalculated the maximum speed achievable as being below that given in Engineering.
