Abstract

'Washington, Sept. 26. - The naval board, of which Commander Theodore F. Jewell was senior member, appointed to conduct the recent trial of the Patrick torpedo, has submitted a favourable report, in accordance with which the department has accepted the three torpedoes made under contract.'
