- Abstract
"According to the press, the ROSOBORONEXPORT state-owned company is planning a significant export increase in naval materiel constituting at present about 40% of the company's contracts. In these regards, the Russian sophisticated missile system Club-S developed by the Ekaterinburg - based Novator design Bureau (Designer General P. I. Kamnev) is of particular interest. Club-S (for arming submarines) and Club-N (for arming surface combatants) systems have identical combat assets with the only difference between them being the fact that the Club-N system is accommodated in standard shipboard launchers and missiles are fitted into transport/launching tubes ensuring their fire from the launcher. Club-S and Club-N systems are designed to engage surface combatants and submarines of various classes and types in heavy electronic countermeasures environment and in the face of intense enemy fire."
