- Abstract
"The principal object of the invention is to provide a simple, economical and efficient electrically-controlled torpedo. A further object of the invention is to provide a torpedo with electrically actuated mechanisms connected with the shore-line with but a single insulated wire and arranged and constructed in such a manner as to be operated, directed, and controlled from the shore by means of the electric current passing through said wire."
