- Abstract
"The invention consists in a torpedo having propelling means and provided with means for carrying a bomb or light explosive charge in position to be exploded against the vessel or other practice-target without material injury thereto or to the body of the torpedo. The invention also contemplates certain novel features of the construction, combination, and arrangement of the several parts of the improved torpedo whereby certain important advantages are attained and the device is made simpler, cheaper and otherwise better adapted for use."
