"QinetiQ comprising the bulk of the former UK Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA), has showcased a new submarine research and technology centre established at its Winfrith site in Dorset southern England. The centre's principal activities comprise: Whole submarine platform design and concept studies. Combat system modelling. Fully reelable sonar, towed array design.
