"French naval shipbuilding systems and support group DCN has unveiled a new low-cost coastal submarine concept aimed at navies looking to recapitalise their existing submarine force or to acquire a submarine capability for the first time. The design known as SMX-23, will be given a public debut at the Euronaval exhibition in Paris from October 23-27, 2006."
