"Raytheon Integrated Defence Systems has begun full-rate production of the Mk 54 Mod 0 lightweight torpedo for the US Navy (USN) following the successful completion of technical and operational evaluation. The Mk 54 has been designed to leverage technologies from the Mk 50 and Mk 48 heavyweight torpedo programmes, and uses the proven warhead and propulsion systems from the Mk 46 lightweight torpedo."
