- Abstract
Reuter's reported that the official Russian report on the torpedo boat attack at Batoum had been published, and that it stated that four Russian torpedo boats belonging to the Russian steamer Constantine, commanded by Captain Makov, lying at anchor off Batoum had succeeded in exploding two automatic torpedoes under a Turkish ironclad. The first being launched from the Tcherma, commanded by Lieutenant Zatsarenny, and the second from the Sinope, commanded by Lieutenant Tchetinsky.
