- Abstract
The official trial of the torpedo boat Python (length 152 feet 6 inches; beam 15 feet 3 inches) the last of four torpedo boats built by Yarrow and Company, Poplar, for the Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Government, took place in March 1899. The speed maintained was 24.34 knots with the engine operating at 350 revolutions per minute, with a steam pressure of 170 pounds per square inch.
