- Abstract
- Messrs. J and G Thomson, Clydebank, were commissioned by the Spanish Government to build two torpedo boat destroyers capable of achieving a speed of 28 knots with a load of 75 tons on board. The vessels were to be larger, and have stronger scantlings than those built for the British Government.
