- Abstract
The torpedo boat destroyer Sturgeon (length 194 feet 6 inches, beam 19 feet, draught 7 feet 6 inches; displacement 300 tons) built at Barrow by the Naval Construction and Armament Company for the British Government achieved a sped of 29.25 knots during her official trials on the 11th of April 1895.
