- Abstract
The official trials of H.M. torpedo-boat destroyer Bruiser, the last of five torpedo-boat destroyers built by J. I. Thornycroft and Co., Chiswick, for the British Government took place in late February 1895. Six runs over the measured mile were made at an average speed of 28.144 knots, with a mean speed of 27.97 knots over three hours.
