- Abstract
Two torpedo boats of the Falke type built by Yarrow and Co., Poplar for the Austrian Government successfully completed the voyage from Portland to Oporto in two days. These vessels had a speed of 22 to 23 knots, 3 knots faster than contemporary Royal Navy vessels.
